How pop do ya wannit? This is some yummy grown-up bubblegum for yer tummies. A criminally infectious chorus tops an electronic dance pop treat that would work as well in any nightclub as it would on pop radio. Not the Beach Boys hit of the same name, but def some shameless fun. A word of caution, this hook will stick to you like sugar frosted honey buns. Instrumentally rockin’ the jazzy reggae partay for this 4th o’ jewel eye, we haz thee Jive Ass Sleepers, str8 outta Sacramento. Actually it’s just one dude, but I dig the way single artist/producers who create whole band-loads of musical bandwidth have taken to giving themselves band names lately. This is one exceedingly well produced sexy groovy instrumental. Play it at your BBQ and yer friends will be ever so happeh.

Music is my passion, and I bask in its sonic glow everyday. There has been so much stupendous music made recently, regardless of the shriveling record industry.
This GR8 music has somehow been ignored and relegated to a second-class status it honestly doesn’t deserve. Being the uber-fan that I am, I found it necessary to blog about this attention-worthy music. Because of my immense passion, I feel like it’s my sole responsibility to take you directly to as much of this music as I can find. I just want to share the fun with fellow music lovers, while helping the music creators.

From the time I discovered there was a world of great music seething beyond my brother’s record collection, I have spent the majority of my energy exploring music that is new to me. I grew up listening to hip-hop, electronic and jazz. By the time I was 14 I started bedroom DJing. During high school I started my perpetual mixtape quest. Eventually I amassed enough gear and dirty-used records to turn what should have been a laundry room into a home studio.
